Vegetal Intelligence in Brian Aldiss\u2019 Novel Hothouse (1962)<\/em><\/p>\n<p style=\"line-height: 1.5; text-align: left;\">John Ryan, University of Western Australia<\/p>\n<p style=\"line-height: 1.5; text-align: left;\">How might we imagine humanity in 2050 as more plant-like\u2014as in higher synchronization with vegetal temporality in our scientific, technological, cultural, and interpersonal pursuits? How might we resist denying a future to plants and, thus, to ourselves and other beings?
