She is the recipient of Aga Khan Fellowships, the University of California President&#8217;s Fellowship, and a J.Paul Getty Fellowship for her <em>Constructed Ideologies and Ideal Constructions: A Socio-Architectural History of the Mosque of the Prophet in Madina<\/em>.
