Baron Haber is a PhD Candidate in English Literature working on a dissertation that analyzes the metamorphic body in 20th century British and Anglophone literature, utilizing both ecocritical and materialist feminist accounts of the embodied subject. This year (2015-16) he is working as the Arnhold Program Graduate Fellow. In addition to holding his MA from UCSB, he also holds his MFA in Creative Writing (Fiction) from the University of Illinois, Urbana-Champaign. He enjoys all aspects of life in Santa Barbara — swimming or surfing in the ocean, hiking with his dogs, running or biking on the bluffs, and getting to know all the brilliant people who make up this community.
