MFS IIIx3 Prototype. Chengdu, China. 2018. NLÉ Architects.

The Minjiang Floating System IIIx3 is the third iteration and fourth prototype of NLÉ Architect’s prefabricated design for an ecological floating architecture that addresses the challenges of urbanism and climate change. These three temporary pavilions were constructed using locally sourced bamboo and erected on Jincheng Lake within Chengdu’s new ecological belt. The structures were built as part of the Cosmopolis #1.5 ‘Enlarged Intelligence’ exhibition to house an open-air concert hall, exhibition space, and information center. (source).
